Great podcast! I am curious to see if the trend toward automation in banking really is inevitable or not. I agree that technical and programming skills will continue to be in high demand but after a point one has to wonder if you can really fully automate the trader from the trade.

Thanks for sharing your advice! I sympathize with being an academic at heart but changing careers. I got rejected from a PhD program and now realize I'm much better off pursuing my own business than an academic career.
