Hi, I am an international first year undergraduate hoping to apply to spring week events, I have previously been very much academic oriented and now I feel I have a lack of leadership/volunteering experience, hence am sort of worried about the strength of my CV. Any criticism or advice would be much appreciated.

If you don't have any more experience, it is fine. Your best bet will be networking though: your profile is very average except for LSE. Which gives you the upper hand as there will be a lot of networking events and there is lots of alumni working in the industry.

thank you very much Trigger! I would just like to ask what kind of experience would banks be looking for? I have attended talks hosted by trading firms like Optiver and banks like Merrill Lynch, and won maths and physics competitions, would including these strengthen my application? If so what points should I remove?
Again thank you for your time!

I have changed some parts of the CV, would this portray me as a stronger applicant than before? Thank you! https://upload.cat/13e9ebab85c9784c

Professional, volunteering. Attending talks helps in tailoring your cover letters to them, but that's it. Winning maths and physics competition are very good, make sure you include that.

Don't start sentences with 'I', use action words in the beginning ('mentored','trained','achieved','researched' and stuff).

The last section is too big it needs to be broken down. Your CV overall seems cluttered.

Thank you for your honesty trigger, I'd rather know its bad now than sending it in having my hopes up
I've tried splitting the section on the bottom and changing some bits, would this one be better?
