New user here. Oxbridge finalist in a physics-type degree, just recently become interested in the quant side of finance - Jane Street particularly caught my eye, and I really enjoyed looking at the problems for their interviews.

I can't say that I care that much about the financial markets for their own sake, but rather the problem solving, highly technical side of life that (seems to be) found with the quants - and the cutting edge, best-of-the-best atmosphere really attracts me. If that immediately rings alarm bells (and I know it certainly should for most areas of finance, but I have half an idea it might be slightly different for the quants) please do say.

Other than that, I enjoy all sorts of sports, reading and travelling.
