I highly advise you to read through the other threads. Format. African economic development as an interest? What do you mean?
Get specific in your bullets and don't bullshit because it comes off easily. See your second bullet under LSESU. Work on them.
"Networked with representatives from prestigious investment banks including Credit Suisse, UBS, RBC and HSBC" - this doesn't tell me anything. Remove it altogether.
"Selected as one of the top 100 aspiring investment bankers in the UK to attend this event" - same goes for this line.
Also, read CTRL ES's post on summer internship applications. I know you are applying for spring weeks but there is plenty to take away from that article too. Good luck.
