What is the HSBC psychometric test like?

Hello,

I would like to find out if anyone here has done the HSBC assessment test before.
What does it look like on the real assessment?
Are the CEB sample questions anything like the real test?

I believe it is SHL style but I need confirmation.

Also how long after the test do they notify you that you have passed?

They took a month for an update post psychometric tests for me. I guess you need to wait that much.

There's a situational judgement test and an inductive reasoning test.

edit: the real test is fairly harder than the practice ones. If you are not confident in your abilities to ace it, just buy a prep pack. You can get 15% off if you buy it from this site.

I also would like to have an idea which pack has similar questions as the hsbc test.

There is no best pack for HSBC nor do I know what is the provider for HSBC, unfortunately. Maybe someone else can chime in?

Whether your test is going to be SHL, Kenexa or TalentQ the questions will require the same thought process, so just do your practice regardless.
